It all started in early November 2015, when two guys started chatting on an app on their phones. We chatted for a few weeks just talking about random things. It was his 22nd birthday coming up near the end of November and it of course was mentioned in the random chats we had been having. I decided I would make him a simple basket. I went and got him his favorite snacks, drinks, and candy. He had said that his sister was throwing him a birthday dinner at home and didn't have time. I told him I had made him something small and wanted to give it to him. He said ok we can meet somewhere close to both of us. So, on November 22, 2015 - (Kenny's 22nd Birthday) and the day we actually met face to face. We meet in person at a park in Duncanville, TX called Kidsville. We parked next to each other and just chatted like we had been in the texts. He opens his gift and puts it up and decides to walk a lap or 2 around the park since the party got pushed back a little. We talk before he had to go to his dinner, but before he left, he made sure to bring up that he had big legs because he was a "dancer". Now, if yall know me I am always in shorts, but this day I was wearing blue jeans so he could not see my legs. I laugh at his comment and then tell him that I have played soccer since I was 4 and still play and have always had big legs. He gives a smirk like they are still smaller than his. So, I roll up my jeans and show him my legs, and his face literally has the look of DAYYUUUMMM. We both laugh and he leaves to go to his birthday dinner.

After the meet at Kidsville we see each other about every few days and hangout. One night we decide to go to where my mom was working as a bartender at a bar by both of our houses called the VFW. We go and hangout and play pool and shuffleboard and he talks to my mom. My mom then of course puts me to work as usual and since she has another 2 hands to use, she puts Kenny to work stocking beer and collecting empty beer bottles around the bar and helping count her tips. We both help close the bar down and after everyone leaves at around 2:00am we both continue to talk outside until about 4:30am knowing he had work and school and I had work. We give each other a hug goodbye and leave, which he then mentions I am a great friend and he is happy we have been hanging out!!! I am not sure what, but a switch flips inside me, and it truly bothered me that I was just friendzoned!!!

Now it is December 6th and I had planned to go to Brittney's house and "help" wrap Christmas presents. I do not know how to wrap presents and was just going over as I had nothing to do. I asked Kenny if he wanted to go and hangout with us and I mentioned I'm supposed to help wrap presents; Kenny mentions that he is actually good at wrapping gifts and would help. We go over to the house and hangout all night!!!! We finally leave at about 2am and I drive and drop him off. It is now December 7th mind you. As we are giving each other a hug goodbye he looks at me and kisses me, and we continue to kiss for what felt like an eternity. We stop and he gets out of the car and goes inside. I start driving home and probably after about 5 minutes I get a text message saying sooooo does that make us boyfriends. I send a quick text back saying "if you would like to be I am good with that." He responded so quickly with "I am not going to be asked that in a text and that you would need to do it the next time in person!!!!!" I smile and laugh and say will do, and the rest is history.
